Terms of service
By commissioning me for custom artwork, you are agreeing to the terms of service outlined below:
I. GENERAL DISCLAIMER
• I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.
• Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled if it occurs.
• The terms outlined here may vary slightly depending on the type of commission.
II. PAYMENT & FEES
• Payment is due in full upfront or 50% before and after the colored sketch.
• Payment is done through PayPal invoice using USD.
• A rush fee will be charged for tight deadlines.
• Additional fees will be charged for excessive or major revisions (see “Revisions” below).
III. PROCESS & WORK SCHEDULE
• Max resolution of the artwork is around 5000×5000 pixels. If you have a specific resolution, you have to let me know. Otherwise, I will decide on resolution myself.
• As a customer, you should indicate at what stages you want to receive progress (see usual stages lower).
•Work deadline is after 14 days from payment, but i will try to send artwork as soon as possible. if I don't make it on time, the money will be returned (except the cases when the deadline is discussed individually).
IV. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS
• Provide multiple clear reference images of the character/subject and clear details about the commission.
• Carefully read through the ToS.
V. REVISIONS
• Revisions are accepted in sketch and render stages. There is a max amount of small edits - 10.
• I will accept one complete revision at the sketch stage.
• Excessive minor revisions to the point that forward progress on the work has halted will incur additional fees.
• Revisions due to my own negligence are free.
• Additional major revisions will incur additional fees.
• It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.
VI. COPYRIGHT & USAGE POLICY
• I, the artist, retain the rights over any commissioned works.
• I reserve the right to post the commissioned work on my social media (but it is okay to ask me not to, if you are not comfortable).
• The permission to stream, record, and upload videos of the creation of the artwork is discussed individually.
• Any characters portrayed in the commissioned work remain copyrighted to their rightful owners.
• The final product is strictly for your personal use only, unless you purchase commercial rights.
• You must credit and link back to me/tag me when sharing or using the commissioned work.
• Price for commercial use rights is discussed individually.
• Credit is still required when using the work in any form commercially.You may use or edit the commissioned work in any way you want except:• Use the commissioned piece in any technology related to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or AI.Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
• Claim the artwork as yours.
• Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
VII. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
• Once the final product is approved, a refund is not permitted.
• You may cancel the commission any time, after which I will issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work not done.
• I reserve the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
• You may not file a chargeback against me after you have given approval of the artwork.
VIII. WHAT YOU RECEIVE
If you want to get WIPs for each step of commission, you will recieve:
• First sketch.
• Clean sketch/lineart
• Colored sketch/lineart.
• Final artwork.
Stages can change in different types of commissions.
